1. Who are we?

VYSE is a web platform that enables the creation, management, and automation of custom Minecraft resource packs (textures, 3D models, conversions, exports, etc.) for Java and Bedrock editions.

2. What data is collected?

We only collect data strictly necessary for the platform to function. Here are the types of data collected:

Data provided by the user

  • Login: Email address obtained via Google or GitHub for authentication (no password stored).
  • Profile: Username and profile picture (optional, added voluntarily).
  • Project resources: Textures, 3D models, project names, and configurations imported into your organizations or projects, under the control of the organization owner.
  • Payments: Exclusively managed by Tebex, our payment partner. VYSE does not store any banking data.

Automatically collected data

  • Login information: Minimal data (email, possible username) retrieved via Google or GitHub to create and manage your profile.
  • Technical cookies: Used for login (authentication token) and basic preferences, such as the light/dark theme (stored for approximately 30 days). No tracking or advertising cookies.

Third-party data

No data is collected directly from third parties, except for authentication information provided by Google or GitHub during login.

3. Why do we collect this data?

Data is collected for the following purposes:

  • Platform functionality: Creation, management, and automatic implementation of resource packs in Minecraft, as well as management of organizations and projects.
  • User support: Communication via your email in case of issues or for internal processes.
  • Experience improvement: Optimization of features through feedback and usage patterns.
  • Legal obligations: Retention of evidence in case of reported abuse (up to 3 years).

Note: We never use your data for marketing communications or solicitation. All communication is occasional, discreet, and related to your use of the platform.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

The processing of your data is based on the following:

  • Contract execution: Providing the platform's services (project creation, resource management, etc.).
  • Consent: Login via Google/GitHub.
  • Legitimate interest: Ensuring security, continuous improvement of the platform, and abuse management.
  • Legal obligation: GDPR compliance and retention of evidence in case of disputes (up to 3 years).

VYSE operates in compliance with GDPR, applicable in France and Europe.

5. Data sharing and storage

Third parties involved

  • Google/GitHub: Provide authentication services for login.
  • Tebex: Manages financial transactions, without VYSE accessing your banking data.

Location

All data is encrypted and stored in Europe, primarily in France. No data transfer occurs outside the European Union, except for authentication information managed by Google or GitHub (under their own privacy policies).

6. Retention period

  • Active data: Retained as long as you actively use the platform.
  • Deleted data: Permanently deleted within 30 days after a deletion request or voluntary action on your part.
  • Backups: Maintained for a maximum of 30 days for security reasons.
  • Abuse or disputes: Evidence of reported abuse is retained for up to 3 years to meet legal obligations.

7. Your rights

In accordance with GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Request their rectification, deletion, or portability.
  • Limit or oppose their processing.

Manual deletion of accounts, projects, or organizations is completed within 30 days after verification. You can also delete your data directly via the platform, and it will be permanently deleted within 30 days. For any complaints, contact the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), the data protection authority in France.

8. Security

We implement robust measures to protect your data:

  • SSL encryption: Securing all communications.
  • No passwords: We do not store any passwords on VYSE.
  • Encrypted resources: Your project data is protected by rigorous encryption.
  • Access restrictions: Strictly controlled internal access.
  • Service provider: Cloudflare, for enhanced protection against cyberattacks.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

VYSE does not use any tracking or advertising cookies. We only use technical cookies for:

  • Managing login (authentication token).
  • Storing basic preferences, such as the light/dark theme (stored for approximately 30 days).

No complex preference management is necessary, as our approach is minimalist and respectful of your privacy. We are proud to adopt a "cookie-free" policy for anything not strictly necessary.

10. Policy modifications
