Terms of Use

1. Platform Description

VYSE is a web platform operated in France that allows users to:

• Create and manage organizations and projects to design Minecraft resource packs (textures, 3D models, configurations).
• Automate the implementation of these resources via plugins or addons for Java and Bedrock editions.

2. Platform Access

2.1. Access conditions

To use VYSE, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old or have parental/legal guardian permission if you are a minor.
• Log in via a Google or GitHub account. No password is required or stored by VYSE.
• Have an Internet connection and compatible equipment.

2.2. Account creation

You do not need to create a traditional account. Authentication via Google or GitHub automatically generates a profile based on your email address and, if you wish, a username or profile picture. You are responsible for the security of your Google or GitHub credentials.

3. Platform Usage

3.1. Imported resources

You can import textures, 3D models, and other resources into your projects. When you upload resources to VYSE, you:

• Confirm that you are the owner or have the necessary rights to use and share these resources.
• Grant VYSE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and use these resources within the Platform, including for implementation in Minecraft.

3.2. Prohibited content

You agree not to import content that is:

• Illegal, fraudulent, or violating third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, etc.).
• Pornographic, violent, discriminatory, or promoting controversial subjects (drugs, sensitive historical periods, etc.).
• Likely to harm the Platform or other users (viruses, malware, etc.).

VYSE reserves the right to remove any inappropriate content and suspend or terminate user access in case of abuse. Evidence of abuse will be retained for 3 years for legal reasons.

3.3. User responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Backing up your resources on external media, as VYSE is not a drive-type storage service.
• Verifying the compatibility and legality of imported resources.
• Managing your organizations and projects, including member access rights.

5. Service availability and interruptions

VYSE is an emerging platform, and temporary interruptions may occur during updates or technical issues. In case of an outage attributable to VYSE, we commit to restoring the service within 24 hours. If the outage exceeds 24 hours, affected users who have opened a ticket via Discord (email [email protected] not yet available) and proven damages may receive compensation (for example, a on the Platform, depending on the severity of the incident). In case of an outage not attributable to VYSE (e.g., a third-party provider issue), we will do our best to restore service quickly, but no guarantee can be given.

We strongly recommend keeping copies of your resources on other media, as VYSE does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. Your resources

You retain the intellectual property of all resources you import to VYSE. By uploading them, you grant VYSE a non-exclusive license to use them within the provided services (storage, processing, Minecraft implementation).

6.2. VYSE's property

The Platform, including its interface and tools, is the exclusive property of VYSE. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution of these elements is strictly prohibited.

7. Account and data deletion

You can delete your projects, organizations, or account at any time via the Platform. Deleted data is permanently erased within 30 days, including backups. For manual deletion (e.g., entire account), account), contact us via a Discord ticket with proof of ownership (email [email protected] not yet available).

8. Limitation of Liability

VYSE provides the Platform "as is" and cannot be held responsible for data loss, service interruptions, or indirect damages resulting from your use. We do not monitor project content and rely on your respect for laws and civility rules to avoid inappropriate content. In case of reported abuse, we reserve the right to take action, including content removal or account suspension.

9. Terms Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time to reflect Platform evolutions or legal requirements. Users will not be systematically notified, but modifications will be published at vyse.gg/terms. If you have enabled Discord notifications, you may be informed via this channel. Regularly consult this page to stay updated.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent jurisdiction in France. In case of data protection issues, you can contact the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).
